Hey, I am Sarah, a 20 year old student currently studying and living in Visby on Gotland. I am originally from Germany where I will also be during the summertime between June and August if I am not traveling at that time. I study Sustainable Development in Industrial Management and am very interested in technical things. I also really love and enjoy arts and crafts and really love to try out new things as well. I have always been painting and drawing a lot and have been crafting some decor from time to time. Recently I've tried some crochet and sewing as well. I also like to get to know new people wherever I am and especially enjoy this carefree friendship that just happens when travelling. I love hearing about fun, crazy and dramatic stories and generally enjoy a little gossipping. I also love exploring and seeing new places both by myself and with someone else and I have been to quite some places as well, although I sadly cannot say I am a professional traveller for now. Some dreams of mine include to roadtrip through new Zealand and backpack through Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Some countries I've recently travelled to include Greece, Turkey and Sri Lanka. Live in Gammelstad, Luleå Norrbotten, Sweden. UNESCO- Church town of Gammelstad Live in a house, with my kid, 12y old, a small dog and two budgies. Got a guestroom with bunkbed and sofa bed. I also got two kind of Sauna. Wood outside, and electrical indoor. I like short hikes in the woods/mountain/forrest in my home area. Have a couple of places I visit regularly, just nearby. I got a cabin, also in Luleå, easy living with only "summer water" as we call it. I like SUP and kajak, I live a short walk from Luleälven, a river where I usually paddle, love going out to "my island". The island has a small small beach where the sunsets are awesome.

Sweden, Solo travel
Sweden was such a beautiful experience! It was actually my first solo trip so it was really special for me. I first travelled to Norway and then took a night bus to Sweden. I stayed with a lovely family through Airbnb and felt very safe and comfortable. I also went to a concert in Stockholm, which made the trip even more memorable. I really enjoyed exploring the city on my own and having the freedom to experience everything at my own pace.
