About me

I used to host couchsurfers, but didn't feel comfortable hosting men when I became single. Would love to meet other women while traveling, or in my town, and share stories about life, love and whatever else. I spend most of my free time outdoors and love iceskating, climbing, kayaking and hiking.

Is Sweden worth visiting?

4.5 /5

Sweden, Solo travel

South Sweden was absolutely gorgeous, very green and clean. People spoke fantastic English and were warm and friendly. I visited Lund and Malmö and would highly recommend both. There's a bath house in Malmö that's really nice to visit.

Sweden, Family travel

Hey guys, I was with my family in Sweden, to be exact in Malmö and in the areas near of it. It was in June and honestly it was really pretty, the sunset and all is perfect. The people are very nice and helpful. But there were some difficulties: There are parking issues, you have to have an app because without this, you can't really park. The parking is free for supermarket parking. Sweden is a must go country, sadly I wasn't able to go to more places. Near Malmö, you could go to Skanör Beach.

About Me

Hi, I’m Sophie. I’ve always loved travelling and recently discovered the joy of solo travelling. A few years ago, I lived in Auckland, New Zealand for a year and then travelled around the world for 14 months. Since April 2024, I’m travelling around Europe in my camper van while working remotely until at least the end of 2025. My plan is to visit Ireland, Norway, Italy, Scotland, Wales, Iceland, Spain and Portugal.
