Is Kandy worth visiting?

Solo travel
I stayed in Kandy for a couple of days. There are many accommodation options here: hostels, guest houses and hotels. The people are nice and willing to help. There are many cafes and restaurants there, so the food there is inexpensive. In xmass time the city was full of tourists.
