About me

Hello, I'm Lynn! I'm currently studying creative writing (with a focus on fiction) at university. I'm preparing to go to Australia in next Feb, and it's been such an exciting and eye-opening experience. I'm someone who’s really curious about people — how they live in places unfamiliar to me, what kind of personal history they have, and what traveling has been like for them. I love hearing people’s stories and learning about the small, unique details that shape their lives. I started learning English since May, 2024. I can manage daily conversations quite well, but I sometimes get a bit flustered when someone speaks very quickly or uses difficult vocabulary. (Fun fact: I often ask ChatGPT to correct my writing — my free teacher!) If you see me taking notes on my phone during our conversation, I'm probably saving a word I didn’t know — I hope it doesn’t come across as rude! Also, I spent a year living in Japan in 2024. If you're ever interested, I’d be happy to share some fun and budget-friendly tips for making the most out of traveling in Japan!

Is Ulsan safe for female travelers?

Solo travel

Like other Korean cities, Ulsan is very safe. However, compared to the neighboring cities of Busan and Gyeongju, there is not much to see and the food tastes bad. What is worth seeing in Ulsan is the spectacular night view of petrochemical plants.
