I'm Chloe, and I'm from Dublin, Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช But I spent 5 years living in London, before moving to Seoul in 2022 ๐ฐ๐ท I travel a lot out of Korea, exploring as much of Asia as I can while I'm here. I'd love to meet up/couch surf with some fun girlies for some culture and some good food while I travel โจ๏ธ

It was my first travel so I went with an agency. Seoul is very lively! There is always entertainment in the street. Even the shops are open until late at night. I felt really safe there. I didnt try clubs and bar.

My experience in Seoul was incredible. I felt safe at all times even after 10pm walking alone. I took the train and bus everywhere which was really cheap. My main issue was finding places who catered to solo diners. I went to all the main tourist attractions but really loved the museums most, and also sitting in cafes and people watching!

I love love love love Seoul :) Is the reason I am creating this account because I want to come back, and unfortunately, none of my friends would join me :( As you see from my pictures, my favourite thing about it is FOOD and drinking ;). But I fell in love with everything; I felt like a local there because there are no โ tourists โ kind of scams, and it is not a touristic city. But I loved it, I felt like I was living there, visiting every corner of the city, restaurants, nightlife, shops, museums, and art galleries. And the vibe is extremely unique; I have been to more than 25 countries and this is my favorite by far :)
Posted: April 4, 2024People are extremely friendly, public transportation is very good, and there are many things to do. I stayed in the Jongno district, very conveniently located in the city center. I took part in two culinary tours and a hike. I highly recommend this if you want to meet new people. A few things you need to know: - Your credit card may not work everywhere. It is always a good idea to have some cash on you. - Many people do not speak much English, or are too shy to try. - You need a Tmoney card for public transportation, but you can buy it at the airport or at most grocery stores. - Google Maps does not really work here, use local Naver maps instead.
