I felt safe and the people were very kind. As a solo female traveller I couldn’t recommend this beautiful island enough ! Lots of activities and sights to see as well as stunning crystal clear water to splash about in.

An amazing place to go alone, as a couple or with family. Delicious food, incredible sunsets, lots of activities or enjoy swim up pool bars, palm trees and relaxing in a hammock. I’m lucky to have been many times. It’s affordable with friendly locals and wonderful tropical island culture. Only 3hrs from NZ and no time change… perfect for children. Can stay in fun, family hotels with everything, or have a romantic, quiet getaway with a loved one. Very safe for travelling alone, everyone is warm and welcoming!
