I loved my solo trip to Colombia and felt very safe. At first I had a lot of thoughts about travelling to Colombia by myself especially as a foreign woman but I experienced so much hospitality and kindness and felt very safe overall. I loved the coast and its beaches and the city of Medellin. The food is amazing and everything is really affordable. I spend a month in Colombia, primarily travelling by bus. Busses in Colombia are cheap and the best way to get around. The people are the nicest I’ve ever met and just life their lives with such a joy and happiness that it will be hard for someone to leave this place after experiencing it once. I’m looking forward to going back to Colombia soon :)
Posted: February 18, 2025In Palomino there is always something to do. It is a very quiet place and you can feel totally safe. Its sea has a lot of waves for this time but it is super delicious, the weather helps a lot with this.
