I am extroverted yet mindful of how and with whom I expend my time and energy. I love how uplifting female friendships are these days. About me

I'm a curious person who loves sharing stories and laughs with fellow travellers. I'm usually itching to explore somewhere new, especially if it has beautiful nature, a strong arts and design scene and good food and drink. I'm as comfortable roughing it out as I am with the finer things in life. To me, life is about both the breadth and depth of experience. And I guess I'm no stranger to some amount of #doingitfortheplot...

About me

Hello all! I'm new to travel ladies and am from sunny Singapore. I love meeting new people and of course, travelling. The most wonderful adventure I have been on so far is spending 2 years of my life cycling across the world by bicycle after living in a van with my partner. So here's to meeting many like-minded souls and having many more beautiful memories to make 🌍

Is Singapore safe for women?

Singapore

Singapore's Government has many laws, made such that it is considered very safe if compared to America. As we do have gun laws, and one needs a license in order to obtain a gun. But as they advocated, ' Low Crime does not mean No Crime' If you leave your bag, maybe at a eatery to 'book a seat', it may not be taken as you would be back shortly with your food. ( As in a place packed with people) In general most do not steal. But it is still advisable to keep your valuables with you . I'm pretty sure one cannot carry pepper sprays or tasers though, locals definitely don't have access to that here. Or at least within my knowledge In general men do not openly catcall women in public , though I'm sure some do strike conversations. There are stalkers though, I've known people and myself to have experienced stalkers. Molestation is not allowed, and should be reported to the police if it happens. In Singapore, as an Asian country, PDA is not usually seen in public, though some young couples could be seen being touchy- feely with one another But you do not see them openly french kissing in public 🤣 Women are able to walk safely in the streets at night, though if you are in areas like pubs, bars and clubs, it is advisable to have girlfriends with you, but if you're alone and approachable men may approach you So yeah . Hope this helps!
