When I went to Singapore, I felt very safe, very excited, and also very impressed. Singapore is a very clean city and everyone looks busy. When I was there for few days, the weather was very hot. It was a great few days, but due to time constraints, I didn't get to explore all the sights or other areas of Singapore. I plan to return there in the future😊
Posted: September 11, 2025Experienced: December, 2022I felt pretty safe Went on a little cruise in the evening. Went to Sentosa Island (Universal Studios) Travelled everywhere by the metro, was pretty easy to navigate once got the hang of it. Went to Gardens by the Bay, was like it was out of Avatar..
Posted: May 31, 2025Singapore was the most safest country I’ve ever been. It was very beautiful very well designed. If you eat in food centers, the food is very affordable much cheaper than Europe . Of course there are luxurious restaurants to.

Singapore is very safe and very clean aswell, quite expensive for hotels but they also have affordable hostels you just have to check the ones with closed up doms for a bit of privacy. But most of them are in the central so it's easy to walk around and explore
Posted: May 2, 2025Experienced: March, 2025Good public transport. Food is also good. Everything is fast paced. The people are not very friendly though. Not much to do in Woodlands, but every other city can be reached via MRT, and the MRT ride is cheap.

Singapore is the safest place in the whole world. I can go out at night without being afraid. I can walk with whatever device in my hands. And I can forget a belonging anywhere and when I come back, it will still be there.
Posted: December 5, 2025Singapore's Government has many laws, made such that it is considered very safe if compared to America. As we do have gun laws, and one needs a license in order to obtain a gun. But as they advocated, ' Low Crime does not mean No Crime' If you leave your bag, maybe at a eatery to 'book a seat', it may not be taken as you would be back shortly with your food. ( As in a place packed with people) In general most do not steal. But it is still advisable to keep your valuables with you . I'm pretty sure one cannot carry pepper sprays or tasers though, locals definitely don't have access to that here. Or at least within my knowledge In general men do not openly catcall women in public , though I'm sure some do strike conversations. There are stalkers though, I've known people and myself to have experienced stalkers. Molestation is not allowed, and should be reported to the police if it happens. In Singapore, as an Asian country, PDA is not usually seen in public, though some young couples could be seen being touchy- feely with one another But you do not see them openly french kissing in public 🤣 Women are able to walk safely in the streets at night, though if you are in areas like pubs, bars and clubs, it is advisable to have girlfriends with you, but if you're alone and approachable men may approach you So yeah . Hope this helps!

Safest place in the world. Have never felt uncomfortable, have left my phone sitting on tables, left and come back and it's still there. Never any problem with creepy men or anything. I walk alone at night all the time too.
Posted: November 4, 2025as a local resident, there's definitely barely any crime (to the extent whereby we have an ongoing campaign called low crime doesn't mean no crime). it's genuinely pretty safe for women, even solo travellers. i can walk around at night by myself, with airpods in on noise cancelling mode. just take note of some laws like no littering, no vaping, no drugs, etc.

Hi, I’m Neha 🌏 — an adventurer at heart who believes in the magic of human connection. I’ve lived across Asia and the Pacific and love exploring cultures, stories, and food wherever I go. When I’m not teaching or speaking about fintech and sustainability, you’ll probably find me hiking, watching sunsets, or chatting over tea with locals. I value kindness, respect, and shared laughter — whether through travel, cooking together, or long evening walks. I’ve couch-surfed and hosted across continents and always come away with lifelong friends and memories. If you’re someone who enjoys good conversation, nature, and spontaneous adventures — we’ll get along great! 🌺

Hello, my name is Alaa 😊 I am a French Moroccan who has been living in Singapore for the past two years. I have decided a few months back that I wanted to go back home without flying (taking trains, buses and ferries). Throughout my journey I have crossed the following countries: Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, China, Mongolia and Russia. Currently in Estonia and looking forward to meeting new people!

Sups, I am Joule, currently a snr yield engineer working at Singapore who enjoys solitude time in nature and sometimes secretly wishing she is an airbender :p (LoA and LoK rocksss) #cue Zaheer 😬 Luvv traveling, first solo trip was to Zakopane, Poland (8?! Years ago) for hiking and I been missing the thrill and freedom of it since! Am a pretty random, straightforward and open minded person who enjoys deep meaningful conversation, hit send if you want someone to talk to without the need of drafting NDAs :p #I promise I won't judge for most of us are already the biggest judge of ourselves Been told I laughed excessively loud at stuff such as lame puns and meme etc. #thatswhatshesaid
