Is Athens safe for women?

Athens is a relatively safe city. There are parts of the city that you definitely need to pay attention to when visiting, as in every city, (like Omonia), but in general if you remain careful and you avoid controversial hours in the evening, you can enjoy a safe trip in Athens.

Athens is safe in general, you can walk safely in the morning in all city. Generally you have to be aware of your stuff especially in the means of transport. Also you should not trust the people that are begging and requesting money from you. In the night, there are some places that you have to avoid also, just like in every big city. But generally is safe city
