I love concerts, discovering new restaurants, and good comedy nights. My birthday is in June. I still haven't decided what to do this year. Any suggestions? Please I would love to hear🥰 Travelling this year to Morocco, Norway, and other places.

About me

Hi! My name is Anne, I'm 25, Copenhagen born and raised, and I still live here! I spend my time readings books, studying civil society development, going for walks both in my neighborhood and in nature, gaming and just overall enjoying life. 😌 I'm not really the biggest party animal, but I never say no to a drink or beer 😮‍💨 I'm neurodivergent and have and extensive knowledge about the best places in Copenhagen to visit (or stay away from!) if you're ND and traveling, so you can always reach out if you have any questions or just need a recommendation for a chill place to recharge! 🥹 I haven't seen much of the world as I grew up with a dad who wasn't able to fly due to a blood clotting condition, so it's only recently that I've begun to explore what this planet can offer. Maybe we'll meet somewhere out there? 🫶

About me

I'm curious (hey, I'm a woman, so that typical, I know!), I love to travel, but I can't do that all time, so I love to meet other travellers on my home turf. I have 3 master degrees, first in geology, then environmental management, and this year, I added law to the collection. I love to do practical things, so my husband and I partly build our house and our summer cottage. The difficult and important things like masonry, roof and windows, and plumbing were built by others. We did the rest. My husband died of cancer in 2022, but I have my son, daughter-in-law, and my grandson from January 2023 who have given me the appetite for life back from the very dark place I was in. Don't worry, I don't show pictures! My friends' ages range from 35 to 80, age is just a number ... I can talk with most people, I'm curious to learn about others, what make them tick, and learn from them. That's what I love about travelling. I live 8 km from Town Hall Square in a subsurb. Copenhagen is a small city but with many concerts and cultural events that I enjoy, but it's more fun with company.

Is Copenhagen safe for women?

Ceci

Copenhagen is safe in general (compared to other places), also for women and queer people, tho unfortunately with well known some precautions. During night time in the city center (KBH K) it tend to get uncomfortable and unsafe because men sometimes harass you, fx if you walk alone towards Nørreport, Kongens Nytorv or the central station. Some Danish people have a tendency to feel entitled to your attention, can get way too handsy in the clubs and take rejections hard. Again safe, as in mostly but with the dash of douchebag finance bros. I still definitely send location and have a friend on the phone. I prefer biking around at all times. I have walked back at night time many times towards Nørrebro and Frederiksberg without issues, it is mostly just that hotspot in the Center where I'd experienced unwanted attention. Of course parks after dark are not advised. Crime rate is low except for bike theft so remember to lock 🚲
