I have been living in Pasto for 5 months now and I must say that I feel very safe in this city. Nothing crazy has happened. I don’t go out at night alone, so about this I cannot share any experience.

Me and my girlfriend have been living here for over a month walking everywhere we go, hangout out with locals daily, and going out intoxicated for nightlife most weekends. We have not had a problem yet! People have primarily been kind, I don’t think we’ve experienced homophobia(?), and we have no had anything stolen. We are in love with it here and I hope we and other travelers continue having positive and safe experiences in laureles.
