Hi! I’m Yutong from China, currently studying at a university of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I’m on a backpacking trip during my vacation, hoping to see different parts of the world, meet people from various backgrounds, and explore the similarities and differences between cultures. I really enjoy cooking. If you’re open to it, I’d love to cook a homemade meal for you as a way to say thank you.😘 I’m someone who enjoys talking with people and always respects others. When staying in someone’s home, I do my best to be quiet, clean, and considerate. As for language—my English is good enough for daily conversation and reading. For more complex ideas, I may use a translator to help me understand or express myself better. I’m sorry if there’s any miscommunication, but I will always try my best and truly appreciate your patience. For me, Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to sleep—it’s about meaningful exchanges and human connection. I’m looking forward to meeting kind and open-hearted people on this journey. Is Chengdu safe for women?
Chengdu is a very safe city! In fact, I’d say many of China’s major cities are quite secure, thanks to the extensive network of cameras everywhere. You can walk around at night, even in less crowded areas, and feel completely at ease. It’s one of the things I love most about living here—you can enjoy the city at any time of day or night without worrying about your safety.
