Is Petropolis safe for women?
One of the safiest cities in Rio de Janeiro. You can walk alone downtown during the day with no worries, although it is not recommended to walk alone at night hokding your cell phone and taking pictures without having a look around. I live in Petropolis since 2016 and have never witness any crime.
