About me

Hi, I’m Livia. I’m an international relations and economy student. I live in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, Brazil and it’s incredible to find an app like this. I will go to my first trip alone (in 04/2025) and I am very scared hahaha but I got very happy to find this app, so I can feel a little safer traveling by myself. I also would be very happy to help women thinking about traveling to Sao Paulo to visit the city and getting to know some crazy and/or special places 😁.

Is São Paulo safe for women?

Not to much, you have to be “malandro” - but usually gringos aren’t. Just Dont be on the street waving your phone to pickpockets, and try to always go out with a friend if you don’t know where u r going.

São Paulo is a bit dangerous, you need to be aware of your belongings at all times. But if you know where to go, it’s fine. Personally, I don’t feel safe walking around with my phone on the streets. On the other hand, in my whole life nothing ever happened to me, only once someone stole my phone, but that’s because I fell asleep on the bus😅
