Perth
Heya! My name is Rahel, I’m an easygoing and curious traveler from northern Italy. I recently spent a year in Australia on a working holiday visa, exploring its beautiful landscapes and meeting incredible people. Now, I’m continuing my journey in Japan for a month (or maybe longer!) before returning home. I studied arts and have a deep appreciation for any form of creative expression and nature. I love immersing myself in the world around me and I can’t wait to see more! As a guest, I’m respectful, tidy, and always grateful for the hospitality I receive. I enjoy meaningful conversations but also understand the importance of personal space. I’m excited about meeting new people along the way and embracing this wonderful journey!! Xx 🌷🌞🌷🌞

Hi! My name is Gabriella. I grew up in Seattle Washington USA but I've been living in Perth the last 3 years and I plan to be here a while longer! I'm always down to hang out and go on adventures. I have my own place in a secure building so I'm happy to host as well!! UPDATE: As I've been receiving a lot of requests to be hosted at mine, I felt this update was necessary. I am currently out of country and back in the US until January 5th, 2026 for family events and holidays. As a result, I am unable to host anyone for the time being. You are more than welcome to message me about recommendations or other assistance if you want. I'll return to Perth in the new year!! 🥰
Magdalena
Perth
hi :) My name is Magdalena and I am currently on a solo trip around Europe. I was raised in Australia but have a strong connection to my Bulgarian roots and culture. 🇧🇬 Each day on this journey inspires me in a completely new way, and I’m excited to see what I can create and learn. I highly value connecting with others, transparency, respect, open minds, deep conversations and making a positive impact. I am on a journey of self discovery and am looking for opportunities that will push me out of my comfort zone and teach me valuable lessons about the world and myself. I am interested in learning more about permaculture/sustainable living, and just finished my first volunteering experience on a Germany farm for a month. I grew up in a very multicultural environment, as my family has hosted heaps of travellers since I was a child and consequently it gave me the travel bug ☺️

I love to paint, draw, learn languages and gym. As my studies abroad finish up I'm looking for a beautiful way to explore a bit of France and meet some lovely new people before J head home ❤️.

Perth girl, grew up in “the hills” (Kalamunda) but live closer to the CBD now. I’m in my late twenties and don’t have a partner or children, so I often do things alone. I enjoy nature a lot so I can recommend safe hiking sites or lookouts that are off the beaten track so to speak, and give good safety advice: number one being WEAR AUSTRALIAN BRAND SPF MOISTURISER EVERYDAY EVEN IN WINTER. Wear SPF even on cold days because you can still get sunburnt in winter in Perth because we have so many sunny, clear days. I’m good with directions, and more than happy to give advice on locations, or public transport. I am also used to living paycheck to paycheck so I am an expert on low-cost ways to explore the area or ways to save money when possible! I am very technologically capable so I can recommend apps, local Facebook groups etc. I have anxiety myself and don’t know much about Perths night scene but know the main venues. I’ve recently (past 2 years) travelled to: North: El Questro, Geraldton, Jurien Bay, Meekatharra South: Bunbury, Dunsborough, Margaret River area, Albany, Denmark and Bremer Bay West: Rottnest Island, Penguin Island East: York, Northam So I’m quite confident with offering advice about those areas. I have camped in El Questro and near Margaret River, but only in summer so not too familiar with winter camping. More of an air b&b/hotel girl myself. I like to plan everything ahead myself, so anxious girlies I’ve got your back! I can recommend govt sites, local tourist stands that are worth stopping at, and have an extensive list of public toilets that are relatively clean. I have a degree in nursing so am familiar with the healthcare system and how to access care as a traveller, but I don’t want to work in healthcare though so I’m working a part time job at Coles right now. I’m not open to meeting in person but I will do whatever I can to help you, and especially in a crisis if needed. Our police/ambulance/fire services number here is 000 but 911 also works! An ambulance does cost $500 or more - but if you need urgent medical attention then call 000 and ask for an ambulance, you are invaluable. I am going to Spain, France, Netherlands and UK later this year, will be my first time leaving Australia and I’ll be solo for most of the trip and would love to find someone that can give me similar tips/info, or advice on how to pack <25kg luggage for 4 weeks!

Hello! I am Italian born, now living in Perth Australia, where I call home, since being lived here for the majority of my life. I work in hospitality, running my own Paella catering business with my mum, as well as in my partner's restaurant/bar, which him and a few other Italian guys own. I love travelling, the ocean, coulture, food, riding my bike and music. Hope to make your acquaintance!

Hi! I'm from Australia, so almost all of Europe is very foreign, but I'm loving making my way through it! I finished my contract earlier this year, and while realising I hated my job, I decided that now that it's over, I should come to Europe, see if I fall in love (with a city, a language, a food, whatever might give me roots to put down), and consider moving out here :) I'm currently backpacking about, mostly housesitting, and playing a game of seeing how long I can travel before I run out of money. I'm excited to see the world, and I hope it throws me a plethora of surprises!
A pretty small and safe city, however some areas (including the CBD) I would not walk down dark alleys, alone at night. During the day most areas, especially by the coast, are very safe. At night you would just need to have your wits about you.
