Barquisimeto is a small city there’s no much crime rate except for some zones that have been hit in by a lot more crime. There’s no high risk of acts of violence against women.
Posted: April 21, 2025Caracas it’s a beautiful city, full of warm and funny people. But we do have a medium crime rate and we do live in a dictatorship. Right now, I would worry more about encounters with military or police forces.

It was absolutely amazing! I'm in love with those waterfall in Canaima. People are so friendly and talkative. Sea is very interesting - fishes, corals, lionfish etc. I thought it would be dangerous, but if you don't go to the poorest places- nothing happen
Posted: January 26, 2025Experienced: June, 2024I went to Colombia by myself. Cartagena is incredibly beautiful and super safe. I stayed in Poblano, when I was in Medellin - I didn't see much of the center, God scared me quite quickly and I left - there is really a lot to see there. I took part in a tour to Communa 13 and another one to Guadape. In Bogota, I went to the gold museum, their national museum, and participated in a graffiti tour. I did all this in 10 days.
