Depends on the aria. In sidi bou said, la marsa, Carthage and the touristic places its safe. In the downtown its not that safe and girls should stay vigilant to not get robbed. Public transport is not safe and tourists should rather take taxies but be vigilant as well because they can get scammed.
Posted: July 23, 2025Grombalia is a small hometown in Nabeul Governorate in Tunisia and I think it has all basic necessities you might need it might be scary to walk alone at night but other than that it has a lot of population because they work in factories
Posted: July 17, 2025Overall a safe country. Some areas would better be avoided for both males and females but overall safe. There are scammers smtimes for tourists or expensive tariff for foreigners but knowing a local would solve this issue.
Posted: July 3, 2025You can feel safe at night when you walk on the the known street do not enter a totally dark or without light street just to be safe. At the daylight don’t worry but be careful like you are on the other countries
Posted: June 19, 2025I would say that it depends on specific places and times but generally it's moderate. and personally i think people make it much horrible than it actually is . For me i feel safe walking around in kairouan than in tunis the capital at least here people have each other's backs

It's heavenly and beautiful! We visited Tabarka, Bni Mtir and Ain Drahem. Tabarka has great beaches with mountain and old castle views and luxurious hotels. Bni Mtir has enchanting forests with breathtaking Waterfalls. Take the chance to buy essential oils from the guy near the Waterfalls; his products are authentic, and the prices are very reasonable. Ain Drahem was also very beautiful with a unique vibe.
Posted: May 25, 2025Experienced: April, 2025Tunisia is a wonderful country. Its location makes it a melting pot of cultures that have been absorbed during centuries, making it a unicum in the world. People are welcoming and warm. However, moving to the South of the country, in rural areas or even in some neighborhoods in Tunis is not recommended during night for a women alone.
