I haven’t lived here long so I might not be the most reliable source. However, the months that I have lived here have proved safe and people generally leave you alone. I’ve been told that crimes are rare and I haven’t seen pickpockets which can be common in bigger cities.

Hi everyone! I’m Angela, originally from the Philippines but I’ve been living abroad for almost 17 years. I speak English, Filipino, and some Spanish, a smattering of Vietnamese and Swahili. I enjoy eating (and sometimes cooking) various cuisines and I spend a lot of time reading books. I would love to meet people of all ages from different cultures.
