Posted: April 17, 2025I came here a long time ago, and then I feel here in North Cyprus 100% safe all time. After 2022 here came to many new people, new immigrants, and now it 90%. It’s really safe here, but of course, you never know, cause we live in a man’s world

Cyprus is a small and safe island. There are many universities and international people around. Also local people very friendly. Im living in Famagusta. Unfortunately there is no local transportation for the nights. So you have to use taxi or stay close to one beachside so you can spend your time mostly in good places. +Cyprus s very warm& ı dont advice you to visit in summer times. Before june or after august ll be better to visit and enjoy the weather&beach&nature.

İt is really safe you can come here as a women alone 💜 people are really sweet as far as ı experienced. İn Cyprus u just need to be a little bit careful but ı can confirm that local people are safe.
Posted: January 29, 2025It's 3 years that I've been living in north Cyprus and it is so safe, even when I go out at 3 am I do not feel even a little unsafe. And my friends did not experience any unsafe situations here. It is a tourist place and it might be the reason for safety.
Posted: December 25, 2024North Cyprus is a pretty safe place because there are a lot of locals who are glad to help in any situation. There are minimal crimes here such as a kid grabbing a pack of chips at the store or something small from an accessory store. Our locals are fantastic people; they’ll show you around, help you if needed. Crime rates are low as I said earlier so I recommend you visiting this place

Cyprus is a beautiful country with a lot of different amazing cultural influences and great food. The prices are pretty low in the smaller towns and high in touristy areas(like any other country too). The weather, water and beach was amazing. I did feel safe most of the time since I always traveled in a bigger group, there was some street harassment going on though. Overall a really nice place, there is a lot of trash on the roadside and just in general lying around in nature which kind of sucks though(and is probably mostly the fault of tourism). Also a lot of strays(I don't mind cause most of them were really friendly and I like animals) but definitely not everyones cup of tea ig.

In February, there are very few people in Cyprus, so sometimes you feel like you are in an abandoned city. The weather in February is still warm, there is no heat but it is the perfect time for walking and admiring nature. There are beautiful cliffs in Cyprus which are a bit far from the city where we lived (aya napa) but can be easily reached by bus. I highly recommend visiting the capital of Cyprus because it is the only capital that is divided into two parts - Turkish and Cypriot. I felt like I was in two different countries
