Walking around or taking public transport alone has never been an issue, I feel safe even at night time. The area of the station is not the best place to be around at night, but even then I never experienced harassment. The city feels overall wealthy and gives a general sense of serenity and well-being.
Posted: July 22, 2024It’s super safe for all genders and age groups! Anyone can go anywhere at anytime. Everyone is very respectful and nice towards each other. There’s nothing to worry about when you’re in Luxembourg!!!!
Posted: July 5, 2024Luxembourg city is really a very safe city, including for women travelling alone. In 15 years there, I have never had any problem anywhere, even during the night. Maybe you should avoid going alone into the forest by night, but anywhere else is ok!

Luxembourg is relatively safe, especially compared to other cities. You can pretty much walk around 24/7 almost everywhere and be okay. The police are also reliable and people tend to leave you alone anyway. There are obviously places I’d avoid just to be sure (ex. The central station at night) but even those places are not that bad. Overall, wouldn’t surprise me if it was one of the safest countries in the world.

Luxembourg is a very small city and is very safe for women. Except the main train station area and surroundings, everywhere feel safe. The best part of the city to go out is Limpertsberg, where the tram passes by and has always a lot of people there walking or cycling.
Posted: May 5, 2024I made it as a day trip from Frankfurt and started very early in the morning. Thanks to 49Euros ticket, we are able to travel not only within Germany everywhere for countless times but also cover countries that share border with Germany. I managed to cover to do things within city, had a nice time exploring the tunnel, famous bridge and rested a bit in the mountain top coffee shop over a wine! It was indeed a beautiful experience
