How safe is Rasht?

In Rasht, security is very high compared to other cities in Iran, especially Tehran. Men are very fond of women and respect them, but like anywhere in the world, there are good and bad people. In some neighborhoods down town, there is a higher chance of fighting and danger, but they have nothing to do with strangers. In the main city, there are very few fights and robberies, or perhaps none at all. People are very hospitable, the food is very delicious, and the city has a very old and beautiful texture that is suitable for a few hours of sightseeing in the alleys and streets of Rasht.
