Crystal-clear waters, golden beaches, and ancient ruins create a magical atmosphere. The charming old town, breathtaking sunsets, and warm Mediterranean vibe make it a perfect destination for relaxation and exploration. Paphos is very nice place i can give info if someone needs and also rides with my car if someone wants to drive with me

it's a pretty calm place, typical island vibe where everyone is relaxed and calm, i felt safe here. I was walking around the city alone. I was hitchhiking from city to city alone and everything was fine. People were friendly and kind.

Cyprus is a very small island so it’s hard to have something very serious happen as everyone is very close to each other. There is not much crime and usually it’s not to solo travelers or specifically to women
Posted: March 14, 2025It's a very relaxing and easygoing place. It's a nice place if you want to have some time with yourself and recharge! Almost everyone knows the other, so if you're with a local, don't be surprised that they stop frequently to talk with someone.
Posted: February 22, 2025Overall safe, but still good to be careful. A lot of annoying weird people like everywhere. Try not to walk alone at night and you’re good. Public transport is okay but still stay aware at all times.
Posted: January 22, 2025It's a really safe and quiet place, and I have walked alone during the night sometimes and I felt pretty safe, but lately the population is growing because of illegal immigrants and they do cause trouble sometimes but same cam be said for local youth aswell

I would say very safe i am not scared to walk at night although at some spots some suspicious people might be hanging there but not common to come across unless intentionally. I recommend limassol as well as paphos very much, paphos is 30 minutes from limassol ! :)
Posted: January 16, 2025Bar Street is known for harassment after 11 PM. Women deal with catcalling & unsolicited flirting. It's safest to ignore it & walk fast. Experiences can vary for foreigners or those who are not sober.
Posted: December 30, 2024Larnaca is a small town and that means that here most people know each other and most are willing to help each other out. The city center has the central police station which means services would be alert.

It's safe but I'm afraid of tourists.. They'll try to sell you things, with lies ..For example "my boy is sick please help" ..And I saw a few people walking around and checking in the cars..We must always have eyes open and suspiciously

My trip in Limassol was great, I felt safe though even during the non-touristic season the city was quite busy. I was traveling with a group and stayed in a hotel. We mostly ate outside and the restaurants were quite expensive compared to Larnaca. We had our favorite coffee shop-Wagmi, where you can have quality coffee and work, and they have a super cute garden also.

I honestly have mixed feelings about Cyprus. I went there to see my friend who was in Nicosia on Erasmus. It's good that during my stay in Nicosia I decided to go on short trips to Limmasol and Ayia Napa. If I hadn't done that, I would have been disappointed with the whole trip. I'll explain. Nicosia is nice, but for a person like me it's too boring. 2 days and I was already bored with the city. The other two cities were beautiful visually and I really liked it there. However, the whole of Cyprus gives off the atmosphere of a holiday resort. The only thing in these cities is the beach and hotels. As for safety - during the day I kept my phone very close to me (but I guess it's a habit so that I don't get robbed outside my country hahah). At night, however, in two clubs I had very unpleasant situations. The men were very pushy. One followed me all night and the other pushed himself into an empty bathroom after me. I felt unsafe.
