About me

I’m into reading, swimming, learning (that’s a biggie), socializing and immersing myself in which ever country I’m in, climbing (sport). I’m not a milk toast kind of chick, but if I get the chance to live it up, I generally enjoy doing so.

Local experience

I’d say Austin is pretty safe for women, people of color, and lgbtq+. I will say though it’s not the safest at night to be alone due to those who are unhoused and have addictions on the street. Overall tho I definitely wouldn’t choose another city in TX to live in! It’s a great balance of pretty nature and busy city life. Definitely a lot to check out here and if you’d like a long list of recommendations just message me and I’ll send it to you :)

Solo travel experience

Austin is such a cool city! Lots of music in bars and restaurants, there was a lot going on in the evening/night. I would recommend visiting South Congress (shops), Mount Bonnell (it’s a hill with a beautiful view over Austin and pretty houses) and to cross the 360 Bridge by car. I felt very save there. I got there by Car, so it was easy to get around, public transportation is not that good. I would have loved to stay a little longer, but I guess two days is enough to see most of the things there. I also visited the mural (Greetings from Austin) it’s at 1720 S 1st St, Austin, TX.
