Is Istanbul safe for female travelers?
Solo travel
Istanbul is a city with very friendly people, and public transport makes getting around easy. Be ready for plenty of walking, stairs, and hills—it’s a real workout for your legs and lungs! I would recommend avoiding areas with Palestinian flags, as I didn’t feel safe there.
