I'm a social butterfly. I like socializing in groups where there's plenty of stimulation and drinks! Is Istanbul safe for female travelers?
Solo travel
I solo travelled to Istanbul last year, and it’s probably my favorite city in the world! I felt really safe. The European side is more touristy, and I saw a lot more scammers, but the Asian side was amazing IMO. I’d recommend taking the ferry to some of the local islands. It’s an easy and cheap day trip, and they’re very beautiful.
