To do: - Walk across the Chapel Bridge - Take a boat ride on the lake - Take a stroll through the old town - See the Lion monument - Visit the Glacier Garden - See Meggenhorn Castle - Swim in the lake Safety: I felt safe at all times. Recommendations: Lucerne is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.

Things to do: - Visit the Lion Monument - Tour the Chapel Bridge - Take a gondola to the top of Mt. Pilatus - Go on a lake cruise - Visit the Old Town - Swim in the lake Safety: I was there in June and I was traveling alone, I felt completely safe. Recommendations: Lucerne is my favorite city in Switzerland. It has mountains and the lake, but the city is expensive.

Solo travel experience
I visited Lucerne and it was beautiful, I highly recommend it. I also went up the Pilatus mountain for a half-day trip from Lucerne and it was equally beautiful there (you can go up the mountain by cable car or train).
