Is Valencia safe for female travelers?

Valencia is a really beautiful city with a big parc. If you like to run it's perfect for you. But even if not it's just beautiful here. The people are all nice and welcoming and up to include you in their activities. You can walk everywhere and you can book cheap but really good hostels in the center.
