About Me

I am very enthusiastic about travelling, keen to learn about different cultures and every now and then travel solo. However, travelling solo brings me some uneasyness about safety - at least when travelling outside of Europe or some parts of Asia. Sharing knowledge and getting support from like-minded women would be great 🙂

Felt pretty safe and highly recommend visiting the old town because it's simply so gorgeous! visited the national park as well and if you're into nature, i'd recommend it, else feel free to skip it! stayed in a hostel and it was very safe as well!

Solo travel experience

I have been in Tallin many times, the capital of Estonia is full of culture and it is one of the most safest destinations I have ever been. In Tallinn you can have a medieval experience which is really authentic. There are lots of affordable spas around the city and you can combine the trip with relaxing time and long walks in the old town. Places I recommend: Cafe Maiasmokk - Tallinn’s oldest cafe. Old Hansa - Fully immersed medieval restaurant experience. III Draakon - The coolest medieval tavern in the town. Take a bolt ride or a tram and go to Telliskivi - the creative city! I would recommend Nihke Kohvik for brunch and explore the local stores around that area. You can get to know the Estonian design style for clothes and fashion, and find art galleries. Another place which I loved was Nudist Wine bar, which is very cozy. Take a free walking tour in the old town to learn about Estonian culture. Go to O’Learys to find a lot of games to play, watch sports or bowling. Enjoy a day at a Spa in Tallinn, I recommend Mustamae Elamus Spa for many options of pools, massage and saunas. Take a ferry in the port of Tallinn and travel to Helsink, you can make it one day trip or come back next day. Well, there are so much more. There is always something nice to do in Tallinn, enjoy your trip!
