Solo travel experience

I went to Argentina alone. I went for a combination of horseback riding and hiking trip in the Patagonia region with a few days in Buenos Aires. I felt very safe. I was advised by locals to stay away from a particular area of Buenos Aires but felt very comfortable throughout the country. It is beautiful and the food is wonderful.

Solo travel experience

I went to Mendoza and did wine tours. Then went to Cordoba and did a walking tour. Then Puerto Iguazu and I crossed over to Brazil to see the waterfall from both sides (the Argentinian side is better but both are incredible - I could have spent days here). Then I went to Buenas Aires, and really enjoyed it there. Did walking tours, visited markets, and enjoyed tango classes. I crossed over to Uraguay for a couple of days. I traveled solo on public buses.

Solo travel experience

Argentina is a very cool country and there’s a lot to visit. Jujuy, Salta, Iguazu Falls, Mendoza, Bariloche. Buenos Aires and Cordoba were my favorite cities. You need to have cash because not all places accept credit cards. I traveled alone and I didn’t have any problem but it’s not the safest country I have visited.
