Is Paramaribo safe for solo female travelers?

Paramaribo capital, is generally safe to walk during the daytime. However, it is recommended to stay vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times. Avoid isolated areas and do not show off any expensive items in public. At night, it is best to use trusted transportation. Petty crime, such as theft and mugging, can happen, although not very common. Don’t forget to respect local customs and traditions. Always check in with local advice and stay updated with travel agencies' advice. While violence against tourists is rare, it's essential to take regular precautions, as you would in any new city or country.

How safe is Paramaribo for solo female travelers?

Solo travel

The city itself is on daytime quite safe and normal, the only thing is that of you are white the men on the street Will call you names and whistle. I would not recommend to go outside by night by yourself because then it gets a little shady
