I would feel 100% safe but some homeless guys tryna touch me and take my hands on them. I totally recommend the polish shop near the church( soo kind man lower prices for poles). Fine budget nothing to worry about

- I stayed in a room that I rented from the friend of a friend which was 300 dollars a week - to get around in the towns there are some yellow shared taxis that collect people from certain spots, but those are not really easy to find, you should ask - therefore it is good to know at least some words in arabic to comunicate with people - everybody is very kind and welcoming - I felt safe, although the general security status of the Palestinian Territories must be kept in mind. The Occupation by Israel makes avoiding check points by Israeli military impossible.

Beautiful people, cobblestoned city streets. Delicious food, historical sites in Nazareth, Jerusalem, Jericho. Current conflict means not safe to travel now, but if and when things settle, I highly recommend experiencing this complex corner of the world yourself. Much to be learned.

Posted: April 23, 2025it’s pretty safe! the people are really friendly, so don’t be alarmed if you get invited over by a stranger to share a meal with their family. i never really have to worry about my safety as a woman, except for the occasional cat calling. the only real concern is when the cities get raided and the entrances and exits get blocked off by the iof.
