Group travel experience

Monaco is small yet exquisite; arranging a day is sufficient. The average expenses are quite high, and the overall feeling is very safe and clean. If you don't enter the casino, you can visit the aquarium instead. Looking forward to the Formula 1 in May.

Solo travel experience

I loved Monaco. It was incredibly clean, beautiful, the food was fantastic, I felt very safe walking alone, regardless of the time of day, and everything is within walking distance. Nice and various other cities in France along the Mediterranean Sea are just a short train ride away.

Solo travel experience

This is an absolutely beautiful and extremely safe country. I've been there many times. I lived nearby, across the border, in Italy - Sanremo - there is a lot to see and do there. I loved traveling around, discovering all the secret beaches on the Riviera. The people from Monaco are also charming. I spent many amazing days and nights there. Especially while traveling alone.

Solo travel experience

I spent the day in Monaco during my stay in Nice. I traveled from Nice by train, which cost about €8 for a round-trip ticket, which I purchased via the Trainline app. Here's what I did during my day in Monaco. Upon arriving at the train station, I went to the Cafe de Paris for breakfast. Then I visited the casino, where the entrance to the betting area cost €17.50. Afterwards, I went to the shopping center and found some time to look around. I went to the famous bend of the Grand Prix track to watch the luxury cars passing by. From there, I went to the Japanese Garden and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. For dinner, I had a delicious meal at La Table d'Elise. Then I went towards the Grand Prix starting line and even though the races hadn't started yet (I arrived a few days earlier), I was thrilled to see all the preparations. I then went to the harbor and admired the beautiful docked boats. Next, I went up to the palace, which offered breathtaking views, albeit it was quite a steep hill. In the palace, I visited the aquarium, which I think cost about €15. After spending some time exploring the streets near the palace, I returned to Monaco. Before I returned to the train station, I stopped at a charming little cafe to enjoy a piece of cake. Finally, around 9:30 pm, I caught the train back to Nice. The journey back only took about 20 minutes.

For me, Monaco has no charm. I was there a few years ago and I was very disappointed. Only around the casino and the castle does everything look nice. The rest are just tall residential buildings. Nice, which is near Monaco, has more charm and is prettier than this small country.
