I felt safe, it was amazing to see all the palaces and quiet streets in the middle of winter. In summer the atmosphere and landscape would be definitely better though. Food was amazing and public transport is free and comfortable!

im living in leuven, belgium so luxembourg was just a few hours away by train, we decided to do a day trip there and we loved it, the weather was amazing which was a nice surprise and all the transports there are free which we appreciated, it has a nice equilibrium between the city part and nature and there is a lot of portuguese people and cafes, for us it was nice since we are all portuguese amd are living abroad it felt like a reminder or home

Luxembourg is a nice country, I felt very safe seeing around alone and people are nice here! Luxembourg city surrounded by mountains and beautiful nature! The city is more for chill and quite trip, not party vibes or maybe I didn't go to party places
Posted: July 18, 2024I made it as a day trip from Frankfurt and started very early in the morning. Thanks to 49Euros ticket, we are able to travel not only within Germany everywhere for countless times but also cover countries that share border with Germany. I managed to cover to do things within city, had a nice time exploring the tunnel, famous bridge and rested a bit in the mountain top coffee shop over a wine! It was indeed a beautiful experience

Hello, I would like to tell you about my day trip to Luxemburg. First of all, Luxemburg is a wonderful country and a country where you can feel safe. Nobody treats you or looks at you badly. Keep people calm and relaxed You can tour the city center on foot, it can be a lot of fun if the weather is warm Since we stayed for 1 day, we couldn't visit much, but I can recommend this place "Archaeological Crypt, Crypte archéologique" Also, I can definitely recommend the place called "Partigiano", the prices are affordable, the service is very good. You can enjoy your meal
Posted: April 19, 2024Experienced: March, 2024I loved Luxembourg. I went there by Flixbus from Brussels. I bought a Luxembourg ticket for 20€ for 2 days, which allowed me to enter many attractions and use public transport for free throughout the country. I went to Clervaux and Vianden and just walked around the charming towns.
Posted: June 4, 2023Luxembourg is wonderful! It's a small country with a diverse natural landscape, full of castles and charming towns, and the capital is modern while also being full of history. My favorite place in Luxembourg was Grund, a beautiful valley right in the middle of the city.

I live in a village and I actually feel relatively safe there. In the slightly larger cities or the capital, I try to avoid areas like around the railway station, as I think the crime and drug rates are higher there

Luxembourg is one of the safest countries in the world. Some petty crime has been on the rise in the train station area but nothing too worrisome. Public transport is free and safe; Luxembourg police are friendly and always willing to help

I’m currently an au pair living with a host family in Niederanven, Luxembourg. I speak Arabic, French, and English fluently, and I have some knowledge of German and Dutch. I practice English daily with my host family, and I’m also taking German lessons.
