It was safe but just need to be wary about bus schedules or else it's difficult to go home. It was a culture shock for me on how fast paced hong kong was. I especially loved going to lantau island because it was laid back and i can enjoy the views. Hong kong's custard bun and tea was so goood. I'd go back for it.
Posted: August 18, 2025Food in coffee shops were cheap and reasonable. There are some unhygienic place you’ll have to be careful. HK Disneyland was genuinely boring, there wasn’t much and everything was expensive. Don’t bother getting pressed coin because they get rusty fast.
Posted: July 13, 2025Victoria port is truly a must-go site for sure. It's a precious experience to abroad and enjoy the late night city with softly wind. By the way, I found that evening is the best time of taking good pictures, around 5.pm to 6.pm. Hong Kong is totally a city for food🙂↕️ every thing is worthy to take a try. You can rent a traditional clothes at the beginning of travel day, really helpful if you expect plenty of pretty selfie.

Hong Kong was amazing with the wonderful vibes and the old school buildings, it was like stepping back into time in the most modern sense. I loved just walking in the streets and simply soaking in the vibes of the city.

I feel safe and the public transport is efficient. I love the northern part because I saw how locals live and work. I enjoy also the solo hiking in the mountain. I love the Hong Kong beach because of not so touristy.

It is a really safe city, I think it is because it’s so small, there are always people around you. I definitely feel safe walking on the street alone after dark, and you can always get help from the locals.
