About me

During my gap year I went solo backpacking, it was a time filled with so much adventure and growth. The experience has left me with a desire to keep meeting interesting people from around the world and to continue to travel and learn more about cultures. I am currently studying literature at the university of Cape Town, I am a dancer and an artists so I’m always down for doing something creative or going for a boogie. I also live right by the sea so I’d be happy to take you for a swim/dive/kayak or hike :)

Is Cape Town worth visiting?

3.7 /5

Based on 32 experiences

Solo travel

Overall I felt safe, because I followed advice from Lokals. Never leave your belongings unwatched. Don't enter Townships and put your phone away while waiting for your Uber. I can really recommend doing a sunrise hike on lions head. But make sure other people will join you for that.

Solo travel

I had very good experiences and felt very safe there. You obviously have to be careful where you go, take Ubers (super cheap), book some tours, and enjoy the views, delicious food, and wine. Those were my best holidays, and I will definitely go back there.

I’m a 24 year old finance graduate and hospitality and tourism management masters student. I often sing and write my own music that is still not ready for release 😌 I’ve visited Turkey twice and France once and am planning to expand my horizons further as soon as I get my financial independence 🤞🏼 I speak Arabic, English, French and Turkish, and can greet and have small talks in German, but would love to learn more languages from locals all around the world 🌎
