Hi, I am Emma from NYC originally, but on my working holiday in New Zealand this year. I am 26 and love most anything outdoors, but I also love exploring the arts, culture, and food in cities. I am currently working at a ski field near Christchurch, but will be traveling for much of the next year

Hi/Kia ora I'm an artist who also works with people experiencing life with an array of different cognitive abilities and disabilities. I love living in this crazy mixed up world, but also spend a lot of time on my own working it all out through making art, spending some of my time in solitude, roaming around making outdoor discovery's and spending time with family. I'm experimenting with tiny living spaces at the moment so if you do stay with me it's a bit cramped, but the quality of the food and bedding will be beautiful!! I'm nearing retirement, so plan to travel when I do.
Beimei
Hi lovely ladies🥰 My name is Beimei and I’m originally from China. I moved to Christchurch🌼🌸🌺💐🌻5 years ago and I’m happy to call Christchurch my second hometown💜 I’m a preschool teacher 👩🏫 and I have been in this industry for almost 4 years now(that makes me feel old lol). When I’m not at work, I enjoying strumming my guitar 🎸, playing tennis 🎾, going to the gym, reading books 📚 and exploring restaurants 🍱 in Christchurch. I would love to do more hiking 🥾 this year and also explore other parts of the world 🌎.

Malaysia
I was travelling solo from Malaysia to Christchurch for a conference. I met a few friends there and would go around with them. But most of the time I also like to walk alone. Although a few years have passed since the mosque attack, I also feel cautious especially as a Muslim hijabi. But it was all okay, people were friendly and Christchurch to me looks like a city of rebuilding and relearning, especially after the earthquake. I was partially sponsored for my accommodation and flight so I wasn't sure of the rate. I stayed at an Airbnb on my last night as it was near the airport, it was a really nice airbnb with super friendly hosts I walk a lot, the food was okay, but I also tried the Uber and Uber food there.

Visited Churchyard where my ancestor was buried. Viewed the damaged buildings of the earthquake. Drove the Coast, and found an art school, the whole country smelled like smokey bbq. I stayed at a pretty safe small hotel in the City and wandered around. Traveled also to Bali where I met my lovely female orangutan friend at the wildlife park. Liked Bali as I hired a driver and met his sweet family. Ate local fish together- scary fish but tasty. Sad thing, no Batik.
