Hooray! I spent a month traveling around Myanmar a few years ago and I really enjoyed it. My recommendations:

- Dress modestly, i.e. without shorts and remember to cover your arms or provide yourself with a scarf/pareo for visiting pagodas. Shoes with Velcro, such as flip flops, are a good solution because you can't wear shoes in pagodas.
- Check restaurant reviews! Burmese cuisine can be really good or really bad.
