had the best time!! was in a group of 4 18 year old girls and for the most part was totally fine. we played it safe and always stuck together so nothing untoward happened except a guy on the street getting a but handsy as he walked past. we stayed in the median so didnt experience much nightlife apart from bars. we did an incredible day trip for only £17 tgat covered so much, by far the best day. apart from that we spent most time in the souks, christmas shopping etc was perfect. lovely warm ish temp allowed for feeling of end of summer even in december. we were a but clueless about eating but found the cheap local places for tagline by far the best and wish we had done it more. also local street stands cooking msemen were amazing. we had been told to steer clear of fruit stands as they wash it in the water which is unclean. overall great trip can’t wait to go back!
