Laos, Solo travel

Laos is super cheap and a great contrast from the boom boom party in Thailand. Has the greater authentic feel out of all the countries in mainland SE Asia. I felt very safe as a female solo traveller. Male sure to go to Don det and try one of the bike loops down south (thakek or pakse)

Luang Prabang, Solo travel

I was there for three days. The atmosphere was chill, with a lot of tourists. The sunset on the Mekong River was amazing. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to rest. The food is really cheap and there's plenty of room for creative activities.

About Me

Hello good people! I am currently traveling, hoping to discover something that sparks my interest as I’m making a career change. I love meeting new people while traveling. In fact, all of my favorite travel memories center around the new friendships that I’ve made along the way. I love the outdoors; hiking, biking, camping, fishing but also am very interested in history and enjoy sightseeing in cities and trying local cuisine. I’m easy going and can be happy lying on the beach all day or spending the day hopping from one activity to another. Looking forward to connecting with other ladies in this small world!

About Me

Hi, I‘m Emily! I’ve been on holidays with my parents since I was a little girl. When I got older I started traveling with friends. The first time I traveled further away without my parents was truly eye opening for me. I finally felt free and self-determined. I enjoyed planning my trips, organizing what was needed and being in charge of myself, finally listening to what my soul was telling me and putting it into action. That’s when I decided to try solo-traveling. I‘ll begin my very first solo trip in February and will travel through Southeast Asia for approximately 4 months. If anybody would like to meet up or travel together for a bit, feel free to message me! 💕 Meeting new people along the way is actually one of the things I’m most excited about during this upcoming trip (coming from a fellow introvert, haha)!
