Grenada is known to be a very safe Island so I would recommend for solo traveling! If you’re from the east coast, the flight is so easy. 
Apparently Jetblue goes straight to there but there’s also AA which is what I took. 

I would recommend taking a tour to bring you around the entire island to experience it all! The local food is soooo good. When I came back home, I was craving their food. I also suggest having their Coco Tea and bringing home their hot sauce.
