Hy Ladies, been 3 weeks in the DR (2 weeks together with a female friend / 1 week solo) travelling through the country by car. Loved the people, the food, the nature. Had to get used to the traffic, partly constant high noice of f.e. music blasters and the overdevelopment of the coasts/islands. For anyone not being a fan of All-Inclusive resorts avoid Punta Cana, Bavaro, Bayahibe etc. and head straight North/West for more nature and landscapes.
