Stayed in Cabarete. Kite surfing, jungle explorations, and healthy eating. Beaches were beautiful. Stayed in condo, so more European travelers than natives, although other side of street had local shops and food that was wonderful. Easy to walk around and engage with travel agencies for adventures. Tricky to know which paths were for residents v. Open use bit you get the hang of it.

Dominican Republic are tropical paradise with extremely beautiful nature, fun local people, tasty food. I fell in love with this place. Trip into capital city was interesting. There are also local zoo with exotic animals. Watersport. I would recommend to visit this country.
