My experience in this city was amazing. I loved every bit of it, from great local food, beautiful beaches and architecture to some of the kindest people. In the past few years more and more tourists are coming so the prices might be getting a bit expensive, but it is still a very good place if youre traveling on a budget. I wouldn't necessarily recommend walking alone at night judging by the amount of men honking and catcalling even durring sunlight, however, I would still rank it amongst the safest places I've stayed.
