About me

Hi I'm Kate, I study fashion design, so I love everything about art as well. I often travel inside Ukraine, but I've never been abroad, (updates: I've been in Austria omggg it was perfect!) I'm so exited to explore. I love and appreciate our traditions and culture and I also want to know more about yours! I can talk a lot about literature (Ukrainian and worlds), music (indie rock, indie pop), about ecological problems, and reincarnation as well hahaha.

About me

Hi) I live in Kyiv (Ukraine), studying here ecology It's hard to describe myself, but most of the people I met told me that's I'm kind, cute, calm and not really loud. I like reading fantasy books, cozy evenings, climbing trees, nature and drawing. I do historical dances, Larps, climbing, sailing. I love ecovillages and hiking. Basically, one day I'll probably live like that full-time) From my very childhood I was camping and canoeing with my family (we have a tradition to go every summer for 2 weeks on some new river) I am in love with mountains I really want to travel basically everywhere :) Mostly where the nature is I am volunteering in different places (as an ESC volunteer usually) - in ecovillages, ecofarms or local communities. This allows me to travel cheap, see the world and help people) ☀️ I'd love to show you around in Kyiv, make an excursion or help with local advice (like where to book tickets, which apps to use for transport, etc) Write me if you have any question about traveling in Ukraine :) Sadly I can't offer a host (as I live in a big family and also because situation in Ukraine is not very stable now)

About me

Hi, I’m Anastasia! I’m a final-year university student, but not for long—I’ll be graduating soon. I also work full-time as a business analyst. I’m an animal lover with a wonderful cat at home. I’m passionate about creative hobbies like drawing, origami, and clay sculpting—basically anything that involves working with my hands. I’m also a huge fan of video games, board games, movies, and TV shows. Music is my constant companion—I simply can’t live without it. I love driving and, of course, traveling! My dream is to explore more and more places in the future, meeting amazing people along the way.

Is Kyiv safe for women?

Despite war activities — it’s pretty good for solo traveling and simply existing there. Try to avoid several specific districts at night during the bombardment and you’ll be alright. I feel safe on my own, creeps happen not often and in average numbers. No serial killers as far as I know

It’s obviously unsafe due to the war: russian missiles and drones attack the city often, so you should know what to do when the air raid alert is announced and be ready to act quickly for your safety. Other than that, Kyiv feels like a safe city. I have lived here for 7 years, and never got robbed or physically attacked. Some districts feel nicer that others, but overall it’s safe and comfortable
