About me

I was born and raised in Moscow, in 2018 I emigrated to Kazakhstan and lived here for almost 8 years. I have an art education, so I really love art. At the same time, I have been working in IT for the last 12 years (SEO, PM, AI). Now I am also a clinical psychologist and death doula, so I am actively studying and running a private practice. I love people and listening to their storiesšŸ˜Œā¤ļø

About me

Hi ladies! I’m Jell from Thailand! I run a project called Nomadturtle, we organize sustainable traveling projects focusing on supporting local communities, conserving indigenous knowledge, and give local kids English education. We also have co-living home for nomads! It’s a passion project and we’re actively looking for volunteers to help us with the following; - English class assistants for Thai kids ages 4-14 years old - Community sharing: share your skills with us and the community whether it’s art, music, photography, content creation, gardening, etc. We value community spirit and always find ways to support each other and local communities. We provide shared accommodation, and visa if you stay for at least 6 months. Minimum volunteering is 2 weeks. Learn more about our project here https://nomad-turtle.com

Is Chiang Mai safe for women?

I've walked solo and taken public transportation and taxi's solo all around Chiang Mai, sometimes as late (or early) as 4am. I have never once felt in danger in this city. The absolute worst I've experienced is some base level catcalling like "you're pretty" in a very crowded area.

I was really afraid going to Thailand as a solo female traveler but it was a really safe place to be. In Chiang Mai I felt always safe and people are kind, they didn’t want to ask for more money. Even in the night when I walked several times, I didn’t have any problems. Especially in the Old town.
