I am solo travelling this end of August and beginning of September with DiscoverEu train ticket and would be thrilled to find one or more travel buddies to visit some European countries (hopefully Switzerland, North of France, and Belgium - but I am open to compromises :)). Is Kranj safe for women?
Kranj is a small town in Slovenia, Middle Europe, and is in general a very safe place. Rarely anything happens that would make you feel unsafe or in discomfort, so at least for me, it is pretty safe. There are, as always, some parts that can sometimes feel a bit uncofortable to pass at night, but very very rarely anything unpleasing happens.
