Doha
I’m a 28-year-old solo traveler originally from NYC and currently based in Qatar. I love exploring new cities through food, art, and music especially through Latin dancing, R&B, jazz and hip-hop nights. I’m super open-minded, easygoing, and love meeting fellow adventurers with good energy. I spend my days hitting museums, walking tours, shopping or sipping something refreshing with a view. At night, I’m all about finding the best lounges, dance floors, or live music spots.
Naila
Doha
My name is Naila, an Algerian living in Qatar. I've created this account hoping to make some connections and new friends. After I moved to Qatar, it was really difficult for me to connect with people. I'm a calm person, funny, positive, and most importantly neutral in conversations. I am also very curious to learn more about different cultures and religions. I love diving, surfing, and anything related to the ocean. Or the color blue 🌊 I also enjoy reading books and listening to music.
Dana
Doha
Hi, my name is Dana. I am originally from Kyrgyzstan but live in Qatar, Doha. I am student at Carnegie Mellon University and study Business Administration and Media. I work in PR and Communications, do Social Media for luxury business, was part of the production team for Berlin Fashion Week last year and enjoy making short films, writing poems, learning and creating art. I am traveling to Prague for European Journalism Institute this July. While in Europe, I plan to travel to Budapest and Vienna. Will be happy to make new girlfriends to explore together, make photos, talk fashion, culture, movies and education abroad!
Julia
Doha
Hi! I’m Julia, almost 24 years old. I’m a teacher of English & German by profession but Deutsch ist eine Herausforderung für mich 😂 I work as a private tutor, business assistant and manager of cosmetology clinic. I’m into watching series, culture exchange, doing sports, walking around cities, traveling and broadening my horizons. In August I’m moving to Doha. I was there 4 times and fell in love with the serenity and harmony of Qatar and Arabic culture. So I’m open to making new friends from here and also looking for a place to live temporarily in August while I’ll be looking for a place to rent. I used to be introverted but when I started traveling it has changed a lot haha. I’m quite reserved person but if I feel comfortable, I’m very talkative person and love discussing everything.

✨ About Me ✨ Hi, I’m Shaheema (friends call me Shyma) — an adventurous, friendly, and open-minded traveler. I love exploring new cultures, trying different cuisines, and having meaningful conversations that go beyond small talk. When I travel, I enjoy mixing a bit of nature, local experiences, and cozy cafés where stories flow easily. I value trust, kindness, and laughter, and I’m always happy to share travel tips, a good meal, or just companionship on the road. I’m also a people-person at heart — supportive, empathetic, and someone you can count on whether it’s for a chat, a walk through a new city, or discovering hidden gems. Glad to be here..Keep smiling and here's to more travels..
Leila
Doha
Hey, I'm Leila. I've been based in Doha, Qatar, since the end of 2020, and I've lived here and there. I never know how to answer the question "where are you from" because I never know what people are asking about (nationality? accent? where I grew up? what is home for me? where I got my skin color and features?...I have a different answer to each question) I have not done much solo travel and I am trying to challenge myself a bit more. I'm interested in walks/hiking, music/live music, dancing, nature, sightseeing, books, food (but not a foodie, I just like to eat 😀).

Extremely safe I have very minimal issues. I prefer to stay in areas where there are more expats. Even though it’s a safe country, the men out here unfortunately think all foreign women engage in SW. Don’t be afraid to tell them off and report them ! It’s none of their business where you live/stay or even your nationality because they do discriminate if they think your passport are from certain countries
