About me

Hey, I'm Ari, I'm 25 and from Mexico. I've always been passionate about travel and exploring new places, especially if they're in nature 🌿 It's my dream to live in a Van, learn how to surf and build/be part of a community of like-minded people. I don't currently own my own home so I can't do exchanges, but I'm always open to meeting up and showing someone around 😊 Some things I like are: chocolate cake, photography, hiking, playing guitar, making videos, drawing, animals and the beach!

Is Mexico City safe for women?

Ximena

Totally depends on the area where you are, can be very safe in a lot of places but there are many neighborhoods that as a tourist you should never step foot on As long as you stay in popular/touristy areas you will have the most amazing time. Mexico City is the best city in the world, no doubt about it! Unfortunately Mexico's government and situation in general is not the best but that shouldn't stop you from visiting one of the most beautiful and incredible countries in the world Just please be careful, don't go out alone at night, don't walk around lonely places also be aware of pickpocketing in crowded places Don't wander around downtown at night even if you are not alone, better to do during the day Don't be scared, there are many other areas where it is much safer to walk alone at night like Roma, Condesa, Polanco, Reforma (around Chapultepec), etc.

Daylight in good areas is ok, try not to go out at night alone. The touristic areas are usually safe, just be aware of pickpockets on crowded places, there are some safe areas at night when theres still people around.
