About me

Hi, I’m Denise, 33, originally from Germany and currently living in Malta even though I moved here without ever having visited. Spoiler: best decision ever. I joined this app because I love connecting with people, hearing their stories, learning about different cultures, and seeing the world through someone else’s eyes. Nature makes me happy, deep talks energize me, and I’m always up for a spontaneous adventure (especially if there’s good food involved). I have ADHD, which basically means I’ve collected more hobbies than some people own socks. Gardening, painting, writing, hiking, photography, language learning it all depends on the phase I’m in. Right now, I’m into succulents and planning a big trip through Asia to explore meditation, local traditions, and hopefully some spiritual wisdom that doesn’t require me to sit still for too long. One day, I’d love to host retreats and organize cultural trips that combine travel with mental well-being and personal growth. Until then, I’m just out here exploring, meeting kind souls, and collecting stories (and maybe more plants). If you’re into nature, culture, creativity, or just enjoy chatting with slightly chaotic but passionate people — I’d love to hear from you.

About me

I'm currently in university studying English and History undergrad- I really love them and am always eager to rattle on about anything history and literature related! I never turn down an opportunity to learn about them too, as well as culture, art or things you're passionate about. I enjoy getting to know people and different life experiences. I also just had a gap year where I travelled around Europe and did WWOOFing, which has made me fall in love with travelling and lean into things with more curiosity and a desire to learn, whatever it may be about. Nature has always been something dear to me, as well as advocating for minority groups in whatever way that I can. On another note, one of my favourite things to do is taking care of other people and especially baking for them or with them! I'm always looking for the chance to do so hehe

About me

I am currently in my first year at university and am doing my Bachelors in English and psychology. I have always been deeply interested in both of these areas, and studying these has opened my mind to so much. I love travelling and although I have never solo travelled before I believe that it's an experience not to miss. This is very out of my comfort zone as I am quite introverted, but hopefully, this will make me more comfortable socially.

Is Malta safe for women?

Malta

I visit in February and felt very safe for my first solo trip, I stayed in St. Paul’s Bay but traveled around the island and Gozo and felt fine no matter where I went on the island. The locals were welcoming and friendly and helpful.
