Is Reykjavík safe for women?

City center is quite safe and you don’t really need to worry about any harm coming to you. The nightlife can be a bit wild at times but nothing you can’t handle. Recently there has been an increase in pick pockets at popular tourist attractions but if are mindful it is perfectly safe.
