Quito
A serious case of wanderlust. Getting started as a digital nomad. I have not travelled as much as I would like yet, but I consider experiences are the heart of it. So I'm not a traveler yet, but I'm an experiencer (? :D

Activist – Public Health Researcher – I truly believe that kindness, even in the smallest acts, can create real change. Advocacy has not only shaped who I am but also helped me discover a deeper sense of purpose. I’m still on that journey—growing, learning, and building it every day. But I’m proud of the path I’ve taken and the time I’ve given to reflect, unlearn, deconstruct….

Quito
Hi am Amanda, am a feminist Pansexual Artist and Gender Resercher, I work on issues related to sexual and reproductive rights and education in the arts. Mom of a teenboy and two lady Cats. I love to travel and meet new cultures, places and magic people by their food, music and art. I speach English and Portuguese fluently.
I'm used to Quito, being latina. I guess it's not so safe really. You can't go on walks at night or have your phone on your hand in broad light. Do not leave your stuff unattended overall. If you're careful and cautious you're fine, it's not like you'll get robbed in a church or something.

In big cities like Quito, I would say it's a definite no to go out after 6pm; however, in smaller places like Cuenca, Mindo, or Vilcabamba, it's completely safe to go out at night, of course always with caution and prudence. Personally, nothing has ever happened to me and I've been traveling all this year; I would say that's because I visit small places and take the necessary precautions when traveling alone.
