Marcia
Córdoba
Hi! I'm Marcia. I'm a travel enthusiast, I love experiencing new cultures with local people and solo traveling. I've visited many countries in South America, Europe, USA and Central America; and I stayed working in Brazil and Czech Republic for a few months in the past. I am currently living in Córdoba, Argentina, where my family roots are. I consider myself to be a local guide here; so don't hesitate to contact me if you need help or advice. I'm also a psychologist dedicated to research in/with children, so I like nerdy things 🤓
Cordoba is a safe place during the day and if you walk through public spaces or crowded ones. You are not likely to be kidnapped, but you should keep your phone hidden because there are many people waiting for the chance to rob it quickly

Córdoba is a pretty safe city for women, specially if you are staying nearby the city center/nueva Córdoba or close to the university. It has very active nightlife so it's ok to walk at night in certain areas, specially where you see people around. You'll note that women dress as they please, expressing themselves freely with their choice of attire. BUT be aware of your personal belongings, specially your cellphone!! Avoid using your phone in the streets as much as you can. Robberies are very common, specially pickpockets or riders with motorbikes
